As a Naturopath, NET Practitioner & Yoga instructor the ‘individual’ is taken into consideration or treatment plans, which means the reader/ patient will be provided with specific instructions for an individualised treatment plan after the initial consultation. Common sense and responsibility for the patients own health, safety and well-being. Is expected.

If you have a serious health condition or illness and are taking pharmaceutical medication you will need to make sure that any natural medicine in the form of dietary advice, liquid, tablets, capsules is safe for you to take before doing so. You must also ensure that you disclose what medications and other natural medicines you are taking during your consultation.

IV. Every single herb, flower essence and nutrient has a therapeutic range and safe dosage, which may vary from person to person depending on their health complaint or condition. It is only during an initial consultation or subsequent follow-up appointment that I will be ensuring safety of natural medicine prescription for your individual case.

V. If you are taking any natural medicine supplement for your health condition whether or not you are on medication, you are doing so at your own risk. Please seek advice from your primary health care practitioner if you have any concerns or queries.

PART 2 SECTION 2: MY RESPONSIBILITY

I. The practitioner/ owner will treat all clients and customers with courtesy and respect by providing safe and appropriate health care that incorporates the individual clients’ values and preferred treatment approach, as long as it is within their personal boundaries to do so. The
Practitioner will provide you with the education you need to support your nutrition and lifestyle changes, and will clarify where required about recommended herbs, supplements, flower essences treatment plans and nutritional and lifestyle recommendations. Following your naturopathic examination a course of care to correct these layers of damage and recover your health potential will be designedThe practitioner will abide by the code of conduct as set out by their association, The Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) & Yoga Teachers

PART 2 SECTION 3: YOUR RESPONSIBILTY

I. The Practitioners clients need to be transparently aware and understand that they are not a medical practitioner and cannot diagnose or cure any medical condition or illness. The Practitioner does not claim to guarantee results even if they have had success with another client in a similar situation to theirs who’s symptoms or illness have improved. In accordance to industry professional norms, the practitioner does not claim to know everything or have answers to every complaint, or illness. The Practitioner specialises in mind body medicine, specifically anxiety, stress, gut health, yoga therapy, plant based nutrition & flower essences; the practitioner has additional general naturopathic knowledge, however as this is
a broad scoped profession there will be health conditions the practitioner has more or less knowledge and experience of over others. The practitioner will either 1) refer the patient on if they deem further investigation is required above the qualifications of the practitioners
academic training; 2) Research the condition/s if it falls inline with the academic education and qualifications.

II. The human body is intended to be healthy. Throughout life, events occur which damage your health expression. In order for the practitioner to deliver quality naturopathic care, a case history will be taken to uncover layers of damage that have resulted in poor or declining health. It is the duty of the client / patient to provide information regarding their present state of health along with their full medical history. Information provided will be treated as confidential and will be used to design the most appropriate treatment plan.

III. Known allergic reactions to substances, drugs, herbs, nutrients, supplements, flowers/essences, homeopathic remedies, chemicals, food, beverages, materials, and/or animals/insects must be reported to the practitioner before any prescriptions can be provided.

IV. Pharmaceutical or recreational drugs (legal or illegal) must be reported.

V. Pregnancy status must also be discussed with the practitioner, inclusive of the intention to fall pregnant.

VI. Changes to the patient/clients health status must be reported to the practitioner. Changes are inclusive of new symptoms, a decline in health, reactions to any prescriptions provided.

VII. Additional or the halt pharmaceutical scripts filled, not discussed in the initial consultation must be reported in subsequent consultations.

PART 2 SECTION 4: HERBS, SUPPLEMENTS, FLOWER ESSENCES, HOMEOPATHIC REMEDIES

I. The patient must notify the practitioner immediately if the following occurs: Worsening of symptoms; unpleasant or unwanted side effects or reactions after commencing each new or recurring herbal medicine liquid, flower essence, homeopathic remedy or supplement. Unpleasant or unwanted side effects may include digestive disturbance, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, pain (anywhere in the body), headache, fatigue, dizziness, lethargy, hives, breathlessness, swelling or tingling of the tongue or any other body part. Any allergic reaction may indicate a sensitivity or allergy to a herb so it is the patient/clients responsibility to notify the practitioner immediately so the treatment regime can be adjusted, rectified or ceased.

II. All communication providing information to the practitioner during consultation, phone, email, or text is deemed true and accurate information. If for whatever reason information provided is inaccurate please contact the practitioner directly and disclose the correct

PART 2 SECTION 5: CLIENT/PATIENT TREATMENT EXPECTATIONS

I. Upon seeking professional guidance and advice from Rowena Jayne Health & Wellness it’s expected that you are willing to commit to any recommended health changes. Supporting strategies such as flower essences, nutritional supplementation and tailored herbal remedies are imperative in treatment plans, the cost of which are exclusive of consultation charges.

II. Upon seeking professional guidance and advice from Rowena Jayne Health & Wellness, the patient/client are acknowledging their concerns with the practitioner and respecting their professional support. The practitioner has undergone years of continuous training in their field. After the initial consultation, unless otherwise advised, the clinic & practitioners have a strict “No Dr Google” policy. Whilst under the professional care of the practitioner, the treatment that has been devised specifically for you. The internet does not know more than your practitioner when it comes to your personalised healthcare.

III. Queries and concerns relating to your treatment are encouraged to be listed and brought up with your practitioner within the consultation environment. This is for their legal and financial protection. For urgent queries, such as side-effects to remedies (i.e. brightly coloured urine
from B vitamin consumption), please contact info@rowenajayne.com

IV. Contact made to the clinic/ practitioners outside of business hours will be responded to within a reasonable timeframe. Our business hours are Monday 12.30pm – 4.30pm, Tuesdays 8am to 4pm, Wednesdays 12noon to 4pm & Thursdays 7am tp 8pm.

V. Your treatment and consequent results are partly reflective of your commitment to make the changes recommended by your practitioner, and your compliance with prescribed treatment. If this is not prioritised, your practitioner has the right to refer you on to another practitioner.

VI. In the event of referral, if reports or clinical notes are requested from your practitioner at Rowena Jayne Health & Wellness, their time in preparing this information will be costed to the patient, payment of which must be received before reports or clinical notes will be compiled.

PART 2 SECTION 6: ONE TO ONE CONSULTATIONS

II. Consultation Times
All Initial Consultations (face-to-face, online or phone) will take approximately 60-minutes, First Review will take 45 minutes. Subsequent Follow-up Consultations will take approximately 30-40 minutes, Express Consults are billed in 15-minute increments.

III. Structure and procedures of Bookings
When you book a consultation your contact information (name, mobile number and email address) will be entered into the client management software, Halaxy. You will receive a confirmation sms on booking and a confirmation sms 48 hours before your consultation. You will also receive a confirmation email with a link to an online screening form. This form expires after 5 days. The sooner you submit this form the more time the practitioner has to review your case and prepare any necessary treatment research, which offers you a higher standard consultation.

IV. Financials Post Initial Consult
When you are filling out the online form you will be required to fill in your financial details so the 50% holding deposit can be collected for your initial appointment. If you choose to skip this section you will need to contact Rowena Jayne Health & Wellness in order to pay your deposit by direct bank transfer.

PART 2 SECTION 7: ONLINE & PHONE CONSULTATIONS

I. Online consultations
Online consultations are conducted via Practice Better. This is a secure and encrypted online platform specifically for practitioners and customer relationship management. I use Zoom as the video platform which is embedded within Practice Better.

I.I. You will receive a log-in to your personal account which will be used for ongoing bookings, consultations, protocols, notes and messaging.

II. Phone consultations
If you are unable to attend an online consultation we can agree to a phone consultation booking.

II.I. Phone bookings are the preferred method of contact for a 15-minute express call. Please ensure that you leave your phone number when booking.

II.2 I will call you at the booked time.

PART 2 SECTON 8: PAYMENT TERMS – PAYMENT FORMS

I. Payment for consultation services or products may be paid over the phone, online via wordpress website, invoice, through Halaxy Software or direct bank deposit. If a direct bank deposit is requested in advance of a consultation or package purchase, the bank account details will be provided and must be paid before the service is completed.

PART 2 SECTON 9: PAYMENT TERMS – PAYMENT PLANS

I. Payment plans are available for packages, retreats and programs on request. Payment plans require one payment up front and the remaining payments either fortnightly or monthly as agreed. An invoice will be set-up with payment arrangement amount and dates clearly stated. Services will discontinue if money is outstanding, until account is clear. If services are discontinued it does not cancel out any owing treatments for future plans, once a program has begun. Bookings that require to be

PART 2 SECTON 10: PAYMENT TERMS – SHIPPING

I. In the situation where you cannot physically collect your herbal tincture from the clinic, items will shipped via a courier or Australia Post at cost to you. The standard delivery fee is approximately $10.55 Australia wide and may take 2-5 business days to be delivered. If you require express post for next day delivery this can be arranged at cost to you.

II. If you are ordering supplements that the clinic does not hold in stock an online prescription will be set up for you on vital.ly (www.vital.ly) and you will pay postage as per their prices, which can range from $6.90 onwards to $12.50. Prices vary depending on courier option chosen, please refer to vital.ly delivery terms and prices directly on their site. If you have any questions regarding this please email info@rowenajayne.com

III. Online patient ordering offers the practitioner repeat script options for the client. This will be at the practitioners discretion in accordance to the patients health status.

PART 2 SECTON 11: CANCELLATION POLICY

I. Bookings that require to be rescheduled or cancelled must be done so with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Changes and missed consults outside of this timeframe will result in a forfeit of consultation fee, at practitioner’s discretion.

II. New patients will have one week to reschedule or 50% of the fee will be charged to cover administration costs for setting up appointments, creating patient profiles, new client folders & perusing patient intake form etc in preparation for the patient.

III. Patients who cancel last minute more than 4 times in a row may be referred on. The
practitioners livelihood depends on bookings. If the practitioner deems the patient to be disadvantaging their ability to perform their duties In order to stay afloat in business, the client may be refused and deemed non compliant and clinic space allocated to clients who are 100% committed to their health and wellbeing.

PART 2 SECTION 12: RETURNS POLICY

I. Change of Mind
1.1 Refunds are not given for change of mind for any services, packages or products so you are encouraged to choose carefully.

1.2 Refunds are not available for any herbal or nutritional liquids, products. The potential benefits and risks of taking any natural medicine will be explained.

1.3 Liquid tinctures often have an unpleasant taste. Smaller bottles can be arranged to test tolerate on the taste. This must be requested during treatment plan options during the consultation or during any communication discussing future orders.

II. Consumer Guarantee – Minor Problem
II.I. Products via postal delivery, may concur damage during transit (*note: to this date non have thus far). Immediate notification and photographic evidence of the damage must occur in order to receive a replacement to you at no extra cost to you.

II.2. In the unforeseen situation that the practitioner is unable to attend your scheduled consult for any reason we will do our best to give as much notice as possible and reschedule the appointment immediately to a mutually beneficial time. If the reason is due to practitioner illness and the illness continues for a considerable time, consults will be placed on hold or referred to another practitioner (if urgent) until the practitioner is fit to reschedule.

II.3. Zoom online consultations risk technical failure. Should this occur, the practitioner will try again, if not will continue the consult via phone call. Any time delay between contact will be added on to the total consult time so there is no loss of time.

III. Consumer Guarantee – Major Problem
In the situation that a herbal medicine liquid, product or nutritional supplement is recalled and deemed unsafe you will have a new bottle issued to you as soon as possible. This situation is rare but can happen and the practitioner will contact you immediately to cease the consumption of the specific product. A 15 minute add on to a follow up consultation will be offered free of charge if there are any health concerns or questions
as a result from this recall.

III.I As a consumer you are agreeing to take any herbal medicine in liquid or tablet form or nutritional supplement at your own risk. There may be a chance you do not see any benefit or actually see symptoms become worse. This is rare, however no person is alike and responses may vary from patient to patient.

IV. Specific Terms of Sale
Herbal tinctures are made specifically for the client / patient; therefore, they are individual and tailor-made in accordance to the patients needs only (& cannot be re sold). Each tincture is stored in amber glass bottles which are strong and designed to not break easily, however from time to time may break. Should the situation arise where you damage your herbal bottle either by dropping or breaking it, you will be charged full price
for a replacement bottle. When there is no consultation fee a $10 dispensing fee will be applied to your herbal tincture price.

PART 3 SECTION 1: Communication

I. Respectful Communication
This website is a public place where interaction is encouraged. Acceptable and respectful behaviour is expected in the event of writing a comment or communicating with another person on rowenajayne.com blogs. Rowena Jayne Health & Wellness will delete any rude, offensive or any other comments that we deem as unacceptable.

II. Third Party Content Rowena Jayne Health & Wellness collaborates often with other health professionals, business owners and experts in the health and wellness industry. Collaboration will eventuate from time to time with others for events, workshops and share content in the form of blogs. This means we may publish a blog written by a guest and share their business or health journey if it is relevant and aligns with the business
values of Rowena Jayne Health & Wellness. All content written by guests will be overseen by the owner prior to website publication.

PART 3 SECTION 2: JURISDICTION & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

I. Jurisdiction
If you have a problem, contact me and we will discuss it. If we can’t reach an agreement, I may suggest bringing in a neutral third party (a mediator) to help us find a solution. If we still can’t work it out, any disputes or arguments arising under this agreement are to be dealt with under the law of New South Wales, Australia.

II. Negotiation
If you have any issue or complaint arising out of your use of this website or these terms and conditions, Rowena Jayne Health & Wellness agrees to make a genuine effort to resolve the dispute through negotiation and discussion, as per the terms and conditions presented in this document.

PART 3 SECTION : AGREEMENT OF THESE CONDITIONS

I. It is assumed that all patients/ clients/ website visitors to the site have read and agree to the conditions of this policy.

II. A hyperlink is included in the online ‘Medical Questionnaire Form’ sent to all one to one patients/Clients, followed by a check box agreeing to the terms and conditions and the privacy policy of Rowena Jayne Health & Wellness. Once checked and submitted it is
assumed the aforementioned policies have been read and agreed.
